Spoken Malay for Beginners (A1)
At the end of this course, you are going to be able to:
- exchange greetings
- apply simple expressions in lessons and in real-life conversations
- speak about common daily routines using simple and complex sentences
- use Malay to talk about food and drinks, and order at a restaurant
- describe people, places and objects using basic vocabulary
- use numbers to ask prices and talk about time
- use all question words to ask for details in different situations
- talk to strangers the natural way
- talk about family and friends
- apply tips to speak Malay more like a native

Students can expect to study from 40 up to 50 hours in total to finish A1 level.
Students are expected to do self-review & homework and pre-lesson tasks before the next lesson begins. Failure to come to class prepared will jeopardise their progress and as a result, students may need more lesson hours.
