Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Yes, each prospective student is entitled to a free 40 minutes session.

If you have a local Malaysian bank account, you can transfer your fees to our local business account. We will let you know the account details during your first payment.

However, if you do not have one, you can pay your fees through Wise (formerly Transferwise).

Our coaching sessions are held live and online using the Zoom meetings platform.

Apart from in-class activities, we encourage students to practice consistently. On this portal, you will have access to online quizzes and exercises. This is especially useful to those who are not in an environment where people speak Malay.

You can ask your teacher questions any time when you study or review before our next class. You and your teacher will share contact details upon agreement and you can text him/her to ask questions, practice with pronunciation and sentence construction.

This varies depending on the frequency of lessons and how much students put in effort to study outside of lessons. We have noticed students who solely depend on our sessions to progress at a slower rate compared to those who put in extra effort.

Spoken Malay is much simpler compared to formal Malay, and it should take less than 1 year or less if you take 2 lessons per week, for you to be able to speak comfortably (know most of high-frequency words)
