① Timeline
It will take around 6 to 8 months for students to move up to lower independent user level (B1). This timeline projection is based on 2 hours per week lesson frequency. Every student is unique (some students are fast-learners), therefore this can affect the projected timeline.

⑤ FAQs
Is there a trial lesson?
Yes, each prospective student is entitled to a free 40 minutes session.
Where are lessons held?
Our coaching sessions are held live and online using the Zoom meetings platform.
What is there on your online portal?
Apart from in-class activities, we encourage students to practice consistently. On this portal, you will have access to online quizzes and exercises. This is especially useful to those who are not in an environment where people speak Malay.
What do you offer under "practice and support via texts"?
You can ask your teacher questions any time when you study or review before our next class. You and your teacher will share contact details upon agreement and you can text him/her to ask questions, practice with pronunciation and sentence construction.
How do I pay?
If you have a local Malaysian bank account, you can transfer your fees to our local business account. We will let you know the account details before you make your first payment.
However, if you do not have one, you can pay your fees through Wise (formerly Transferwise).
How long does it take to reach fluency?
This varies depending on the frequency of lessons and how much students put in effort to study outside of lessons. We have noticed students who solely depend on our sessions to progress at a slower rate compared to those who put in extra effort.
Spoken Malay is much simpler compared to formal Malay, and it should take less than 1 year if you take 2 lessons per week, for you to be able to speak comfortably (know most of high-frequency words).
